We use a closed machine washing system – washing detergent isoparaffin. Washing pieces is an important process before further electroplating treatment, since it removes all loose parts and grease. In this way, we can guarantee the quality of treatment in the following processes.
Raw pieces for production on hanger production line are fitted to purposeful hangers.
Pieces for production on drum production line, are filled in a suitably large drum with required perforation.
We offer surface treatments on following materials:

COPPER |
BRASS |
STEEL |
ALUMINIUM |
IRON |

The selective line is a completely automated electroplating process. It comprises a set of high-performance components and the possibility of a completely individual electroplating programme. This enables us to precisely apply the electroplated coating on the exact part required by the customer. At the same time, the automation of the entire line enables the treatment of larger quantities of products in the shortest time possible. Treatment is followed by a detailed inspection of products and checking of the individual quality characteristics required by the customer.

Products are manually placed on specific hangers, which enable an even and high-quality electroplated coating of products. Products are then dipped into special baths according to the prescribed procedure and individual customer’s wishes. Due to the nature of the work, which requires complete manual treatment, treatment with hangers is suitable for bigger products and products with special characteristics. At the same time, manual treatment ensures that each product is individually checked for quality already during treatment.

Drum treatment is a form of low-cost, effective electroplated coating. Products are inserted into a special drum according to the characteristics of the item. The drum is then dipped into prescribed baths according to the individual needs of the customer. The desired electroplated coating is evenly applied with the help of parts in the drum which come into contact with the products when the drum is spinning. This process makes it possible to treat a number of products, without mechanical damage. Due to the treatment specifics, some quality characteristics can be checked during the process.

At Žlindra d.o.o., we strive to achieve the highest possible quality of treatment. This is why we carry out different tests of quality control which enable us to constantly maintain and improve quality.
We also inspect certain quality characteristics of products which have not been treated at Žlindra d.o.o.
At Žlindra d.o.o. we inspect individual products and coating by means of a metallographic method. The product is cut at a precisely determined part, then brushed with sand paper of different grits – from coarse to extra fine. In order to ensure the highest quality inspection of the sample, it is additionally polished with different polishing emulsions. An inspection is performed under the microscope which offers 100 x magnification and enables the precise inspection of thickness and any kinds of deviation in coating or basic material. Processes are carried out in accordance with the applicable DIN EN ISO 1463 standard.
The mesh test is used to check the adhesion of the coating of individual samples with the help of a mesh test device. When the test is completed, the treated surface of the sample is checked for quality under a microscope.
The solderability test is used to check the adhesion of the coating of individual samples and is carried out with a soldering iron or special solderability test bath. The test is mostly used for products used in printed circuits.
Products with more demanding characteristics can be aged with a steam bath. This process is used in preparation for a solderability test.
We carry out various temperature tests in order to test the temperature resistance of the coating on individual products. Products are inserted into a special furnace and heated to the prescribed temperature for a certain time. Products are then inspected by means of different quality control tests according to the wishes of the customer.
With the bending test we check the adhesion of the coating of an individual sample by bending it physically. After the test, the bent surface of the sample is inspected for quality under a microscope.
The screw thread control is carried out for products where the thickness of the coating is important. The customer provides a piece which we examine to see whether an electroplated product can be screwed on to the piece.
